Most healthcare consultancies in India work out of Gurgaon or Mumbai and fly in for a workshop. We are an hour or two’s drive from most of the hospitals we advise. That shows up in ordinary things — a purchase committee that actually meets on Wednesdays, a nurse roster checked on the floor, not on a slide.

Sahyog is headquartered here. Commissioned the 300-bed Mission Hospital in 2008 — West Bengal’s first corporate super-speciality hospital outside Kolkata, break-even in 11 months. Led Healthworld Hospital as SVP for nine years and brought Akhil Systems HMIS to the state in 2017.
Turnaround engagement at Bengal Cancer Foundation — pharmacy governance, vendor rate discipline, nursing and OT process, and the Swasthya Sathi claims pipeline. On-site work, not a quarterly review.
An 80-bed Kalpataru-BCF cancer hospital on a 30-year institutional lease — Sahyog on the pre-launch roadmap and viability work.
Three closed Glocal Group hospitals changing hands, with Sahyog working the operating plan and capex for the incoming investors.
Ongoing conversations with SJAS Multi Speciality Hospital and Aria Healthcare — the same tier-2 pattern across the state line.

Why Sahyog, and not someone from Kolkata or Gurgaon
Pharmacy governance at a cancer hospital doesn’t get fixed by writing a policy. It gets fixed when someone sits with the purchase committee, the vendors and the accounts team in the same week and makes the rate contract, the GRN-linked payment, and the “no bonus-scheme pricing” rule all land at once.
That’s the kind of work we actually do — on-site, with named owners and dates, not a slide deck left behind after a two-day visit.
